Survivor's Boston Rob and Amber Celebrate 20 Years Together (2025)

Survivor power couple Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano and Amber Bkrich are celebrating 20 years of marriage.

“So crazy … 2 kids that met on an Island!🏝️,” Mariano, 49, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, April 16, alongside a throwback framed photo of him and Bkrich, 46, on a beach. “Happy Anniversary! ♥️ #20Years.”

Survivor’s official Instagram page commented on the post, “The most beautiful love story to grace our tvs 🥹🥹🥹.”

Mariano and Bkrich’s love story began during Survivor: All-Stars, which aired in 2004. The pair instantly connected and formed an alliance before their dynamic turned romantic during the game. Mariano and Bkrich made it to the Final 2 together, but Bkrich won in a 4-3 vote. Before Bkrich was crowned the Sole Survivor during the reunion special, Mariano proposed.

“I’ve seen you at your highest high and your lowest low and between it all we work together as a team to accomplish so much,” Mariano said during the episode. “And in the end, I ended up falling in love with you. You’re the most amazing person I’ve ever met in my entire life and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Bkrich — who famously wore a shirt that read “I Love Rob” — accepted without any hesitation. After getting engaged, Mariano and Bkrich competed on The Amazing Race season 7, which aired the following year. The couple finished in second place.

In April 2005, Mariano and Brkich tied the knot at the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Their nuptials were broadcast in a wedding special titled Rob and Amber Get Married.

Following their wedding, the twosome relocated to Florida where they went on to start their family and in July 2009 the reality stars welcomed daughter, Lucia. They expanded their family with daughters Carina, Isabetta and Adelina in December 2010, May 2012 and June 2014, respectively.

Mariano, who was finally crowned Sole Survivor in 2011, and Bkrich returned to their Survivor roots for the series’ milestone season Winners at War, which aired in 2020. The couple were put on separate tribes and Bkrich was the second player eliminated. She was subsequently sent to the Edge of Extinction, where she competed for a chance to get back in the game. Mariano was the sixth contestant voted out of the game and joined his wife on the Edge.

While neither Mariano nor Brkich got back into the game, they did have an emotional visit from their daughters during the game’s last Family Visit.
